When you’re paying a large sum for a high quality holiday you want to be sure that the company is financially secure. You have complete financial security when you book with Africa Exclusive.

Africa Exclusive is fully bonded and licensed under the Civil Aviation Authority’s ATOL scheme (license number ATOL 2883). This covers all clients who book their international flights and holiday arrangements through us.

Clients who book their own international flights and those who are resident outside the UK are also fully covered under an insurance policy that we voluntarily maintain with Travel and General Insurance Services. This is called a Total Payment Protection Policy (TOPP) and the policy number is AELI/topp/13/07.

In compliance with the UK Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 an insurance policy has been arranged with Travel & General Insurance Services Limited (tagis), to protect customers’ prepayments in the unlikely event of our financial failure and paid in respect of:

• Non-flight inclusive packages commencing and returning to the UK
• The ground handling aspects of packages where the customer is responsible for arranging travel to the destination offered in this brochure/literature/document/ on this website (subject to the terms of the insurance policy), for:
• A refund of such prepayments if customers have not yet travelled, or
• Making arrangements to enable the holiday to continue if customers have already travelled.

Customers’ prepayments are protected by a topp policy.

This policy is provided by Travel & General Insurance Services Limited (tagis), registered number 02527363 and underwritten by International Insurance Company of Hannover Limited (Inter Hannover), registered number 01453123, tagis and Inter Hannover are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

The Civil Aviation Authority and Travel and General both scrutinise our annual accounts and other information each year before renewing their cover.

Africa Exclusive has been trading successfully for over 20 years. We are inherently financially stable because we only become liable for flight and accommodation costs after the client has booked the holiday. Unlike many package holiday companies we do not become financially committed to charter flights or hotel contracts.
