Saruni Samburu is part of the Northern Rangelands Trust, a community led organisation set up by a coalition of local leaders, politicians and conservation interests. Its mission is to develop resilient community conservancies, which transform people’s lives, secure peace and conserve natural resources.

Saruni Samburu is classified by Eco Tourism Kenya as a Silver Eco-Rated facility thanks to its environmental policies including solar powered systems, collection and storage of rain-water, use of biodegradable cleaning products, protection of the environment and its vegetation and much more!
Community
Saruni Samburu is one of the founding members of Mara North Conservancy. The conservancy acts as a partnership between tourism operators and Maasai landowners with a long-term vision to benefit the environment, wildlife and community livelihoods.
