Location
Situated in a private concession on the western edge of the Moremi Game Reserve, all but camouflaged amongst towering ancient trees, the solar-powered Xigera Camp sits across two riverine islands surrounded by the glistening channels of the Okavango.

Rising on stilts from the rich soils of the Delta, each of the twelve spectacular air-conditioned suites are meticulously designed with privacy in mind. Refined luxury meets authentic design in the palatial suites, all of which are decorated using the finest materials, including timber, bronze and hand-carved wood, and adorned with carefully curated art from across Africa.

- The Okavango Delta is rich in wildlife and animal encounters are abundant. Home to over 70 mammals including giraffe, elephant, wild dogs, zebra and buffalo, with sightings of lions and leopards aplenty at the camp.

Xigera supports the Polokong Elderly Care Centre in Maun. The centre aims to make a difference to the disadvantaged older community in the area with the objective to make them feel special and live the remainder of their years in dignity.

Xigera have partnered with Wild Entrust Africa, a Botswana not-for-profit organisation that focuses on conservation and management of wildlife and wildlife habitats through applied science, education, and sustainable development.
