The Finest Safari Guides

The single “ingredient” that will determine the success of your safari will be the people who are guiding you.  Because we’ve been arranging top quality safaris for over 20 years and have excellent relationships with the best lodges we know how to ensure that you are guided by Africa’s finest.

Africa’s best guides possess a rare blend of skills: Immediately apparent is your guide’s “bionic” eyesight which can spot a leopard lurking in the grass 100 yards away while he’s driving a vehicle.  One client recently told us how his guide stopped the vehicle to point out a chameleon on a twig in the middle of a bush.  Even then it took the guests minutes searching to see it for themselves.

Another is an encyclopaedic knowledge of birds, insects, trees, butterflies, not to mention the larger creatures.  This is coupled with a sincere joy in what they see and do.  The best guides genuinely share your sense of wonderment at each sighting.  They are open, fun loving and talented communicators.  Many of our clients keep in touch with their guides long after their safaris.

We feature on these pages just a few of the many amazing people who guide our safaris.  If you’re a family, a keen photographer or have desire to pursue a particular interest we can easily arrange for you to have a private guide at each lodge or camp.  This also gives you complete flexibility to pursue what interests you most and to linger at those places you love.

Unsure where to go in Africa

"Of course the best, and most important, parts of our trip were the guides and trackers!...We saw so many amazing sights, had great experiences with lions, leopard, wild dogs, and hippos."
