The Trip of a Lifetime

Sometimes a client calls who is travelling alone but doesn’t want to join a big tour group. We arrange everything from start to finish and many camps have dining around a single table with the guides so a single traveller can easily socialise with other guests.

Patricia M from Vancouver asked us to arrange a unique safari to Botswana and Victoria Falls just for her. She wanted to see the amazing desert, and contrast that with the watery Okavango Delta. Patricia was keen to see plenty of wildlife and enjoy some unforgettable adventures.

We arranged for her safari to start in the Makgadikgadi Pans desert, riding quadbikes and taking foot safaris with san bushmen in these amazing desert settings. She arrived in February when brief summer showers can bring the desert to life. She then flew to Stanleys Camp and Duba Plains Camp, both in the beautiful Okavango Delta. Patricia enjoyed boat trips, mokoro canoeing and open vehicle drives and saw elephants, big cats, giraffe, buffalo and many more animals.

She wrote to us commenting “I enjoyed the trip of a lifetime. Each camp that Africa Exclusive chose for me was so very unique and filled with wonderful sights, animals and people who took such good care of a woman travelling on her own.”

Patricia liked the fact that once she arrived in Africa absolutely everything was taken care of. She said “Every detail of my trip was taken care of so that I only had to show up and enjoy. I especially liked how I did not have to think about any of the details regarding transfers, etc”

This adventurous lady also loved Victoria Falls and even did a bungee jump off the old bridge above the Zambezi at the end of this amazing trip!
