Luxuriate on a Desert Island

Any travel company can arrange a hotel on a beach, and any travel company can book the most luxurious hotel in the world. At Africa Exclusive we know our beach hideaways as well as we do the safari lodges. And we take the same care to ensure that the one we select for you is just right for you.

After you've been royally looked after in the intimate wilderness on safari, the last thing you need is the anti-climax of some crowded resort hotel. So we usually suggest you keep the "small and remote is beautiful" theme running into your beach stay. Take a look at the luxury desert islands sprinkled like jewels off the coast of Mozambique. Places like Vamizi, Azura and Matemo, where you're like a pampered castaway, sharing the delights of unspoilt coral gardens, private accommodation and delicious cuisine with a handful of other guests. If you need a bit more going on around you, then consider exotic Zanzibar with its history and culture and delightful Boutique hotels such as Baraza and Kono Kono.

If you prefer larger hotels with more extensive facilities, or have a family, Mauritius may be your preferred island. Le Prince Maurice and Le Touessrok are superb properties with a choice of restaurants and superb watersport centres - just a couple of several dozen excellent places we can arrange. Fancy a spot of island hopping then the Seychelles could be ideal for you. Spectacularly beautiful and romantic you can choose between little atolls like Desroches, charming inexpensive owner run boutique hotels such as Le Relax on Mahe or a sophisticated hotel like Maia where the quality of service and facilities is truly world class. Contact us to discuss the perfect ocean hideaway to begin or to conclude your safari, or, you might simply want to disappear to a desert island for a week or two. Either way, we'd love to hear from you.
