Le Prince Maurice

Le Prince Maurice is a superb five-star hotel situated in a sheltered position on the north east coast of Mauritius. The hotel was constructed in 1998 and has quickly established a reputation as one of the finest on this magnificent island.

There are thatched two-storey buildings set along the beach and in beautiful tropical gardens facing the sea, containing either four or eight suites. Each suite is 70 square metres and has air-conditioning with bedroom and sitting area, terrace and en-suite luxury bathroom.

The hotel has a magnificent beach and from it you can swim in the sea, which is a huge protected turquoise lagoon. There is a good range of watersports and ground sports here and the hotel has two a la carte restaurants - L’Archipel restaurant is located in the main building and overlooks the pool and beach and L’Barachios is an amazing floating restaurant surrounded by mangroves overlooking a large coral reserve with a wonderful view of the mountain range of central Mauritius., There is a large and beautifully designed swimming pool, gymnasium and a whole range of five-star facilities. The hotel also has an arrangement with its sister property, the Belle Mar Plage, whereby residents can use the championship-standard golf course there at no charge.
