Le Touessrok
Le Touessrok is one of the finest hotels in the Indian Ocean, set amidst colourful tropical gardens with no fewer than four golden beaches on the “mainland” and two private islands which sit in the brilliant blue waters protected by a bay and coral reefs. Guests at Le Touessrok and its five-star sister hotel, Le Saint Geran (twenty minutes away by complimentary shuttle) are able to share facilities of the two hotels providing even wider opportunities for enjoyment.
The junior suites overlook Hibiscus Bay and some are located on Frangipani Island and each provides 65m² of luxurious accommodation with king size or double queen size beds, dressing room and beautifully appointed bathroom elegantly furnished and decorated in rich colours with hand-carved wooden screens, attractive Mauritian artwork, fluffy white towels and Egyptian cotton sheets. Outside, each junior suite has a private terrace where you can relax and absorb the views of the tropical gardens, beaches and the deep blue ocean.
The Deluxe Rooms are newly refurbished with the latest in-room entertainment and business services system, contemporary furnishings and expanded views of the Indian Ocean. Each provides up to 50m² air conditioned accommodation with either a sea-facing terrace or balcony and personalised 24 hour butler service.
Guests at Le Touessrok can enjoy a wide variety of dining options which include the main restaurant “Three Nine Eight” which serves a variety of international cuisine, there is the intimate “Safran Restaurant” specialising in Indian cuisine, and Feng Shui-inspired “Barlan’s” on Frangipani Island. There is also a beach side restaurant and, of course, others at Le Saint Geran, so the choice is enormous.
For those seeking activity, Le Touessrok can offer almost endless scope including an 18-hole golf course on Frangipani Island, another 9-hole course at Le Saint Geran - both designed by Bernhard Langer - and a full range of complimentary watersports which include waterskiing, sailing, glass bottom boats, snorkelling when you can explore the bewildering array of delightful reefs, beaches and inlets. Diving on the spectacular reefs and deep sea fishing are also available at extra cost.
Between all this activity sumptuous relaxation opportunities are provided by the Givenchy Spa with its eight treatment rooms, its 20m long pool and range of massages and beauty treatments. This is linked to the fully equipped fitness centre.
This is a hotel with considerable style, very abundant facilities and one where you can enjoy peace and tranquillity or be as active as you wish.
