Oberoi

Oberoi is situated on 20 acres of lush, sub tropical gardens on a stretch of unspoilt ocean front at Turtle Bay on the north western coast of Mauritius.

The Oberoi captures the spirit of the European, African and Asian cultures of the island, combining natural beauty and refined, understated luxury. Exclusivity and privacy are the hallmarks of this hotel making it perfectly suited for couples.

The Royal Villas are set in private gardens measuring 650 square metres and the living rooms overlook a private swimming pool with magnificent views over the azure coloured ocean.  All the rooms are decorated in subtle colour schemes, with natural fabrics and original artwork. The bedrooms feature a romantic four poster bed and large sunken marble bath and the private, open air dining area is the perfect location for a romantic dinner or al fresco lunch. Oberoi also has 16 slightly smaller but equally luxurious villas, with their own private swimming pools.

The main restaurant offers modern cuisine fused with Mediterranean influences and the menu also features Creole and Indian cuisine. A further open air restaurant serves contemporary French cuisine in comfortable surroundings.

Besides the two ocean facing swimming pools, leisure pursuits include cycling, tennis, scuba diving, kayaking, water skiing, snorkelling, sailing and deep sea fishing.  Golf is available a short distance away. The hotel also has a holistic spa where you can relax and enjoy a variety of health treatments in a tranquil environment.
