Benguerra Lodge

An exciting luxurious safari combined with an idyllic island hideaway creates the perfect safari holiday.

Benguerra Lodge has just eleven spacious thatched cottages, some with twin and some with double beds. All have attractive hand carved furniture, an en-suite bathroom and a large patio. Each cottage is no more than twenty metres from the beach and has wonderful ocean views. There is also a private villa, ideal for families, with two bedrooms, a large lounge, a very large patio and private Jacuzzi plunge pool.

Guests staying at the villa also have their own chef who prepares meals to order, or they can dine in the dining lodge as they wish.

Benguerra Lodge is the perfect place to relax in a comfortable desert island environment. The management is attentive yet unobtrusive and the atmosphere at the lodge is friendly and relaxed.  The standard of cuisine is very good indeed, specialising in locally caught seafood.

Around Benguerra Island are two dozen fabulous dive sites. You can also enjoy snorkelling, deep sea fishing, windsurfing and trips to explore the island by boat and open vehicle.
