Leopard Hills

South Africa can claim to have the most luxurious safari lodges in Africa. Many have spa facilities, exquisitely designed accommodation and world class cuisine.

Leopard Hills is an exclusive and luxurious safari lodge set on 10,000 hectares of private prime game viewing country west of the Kruger National Park.

Each spacious air conditioned suite commands fine views of the surrounding forest and savannah country which is home to big cats, elephant, giraffe and dozens of species of plains game. Your suite has large double bed, elegant and stylish safari furniture and a spacious en-suite bathroom. If you prefer you can shower under the stars and when you are not on safari you might like to relax on your veranda watching wildlife and birds as you take a dip in your private plunge pool.

The main lodge at Leopard Hills has an elegant dining area and lounge, as well as a large pool. The entire lodge overlooks a waterhole where animals frequently come down to drink and interact.

At Leopard Hills you can expect to see a wide range and large number of creatures including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah and buffalo. There are also many types of antelope, graceful giraffe, hyena, zebra and wild dogs. In addition there are over 300 species of beautiful birds ranging from impressive eagles to lilac-breasted rollers.

The guides at Leopard Hills are among the best in the entire Kruger area and will take you game viewing by open vehicle during the day and at night when a spotlight is used to see nocturnal creatures. They will also take you on exciting game walks where the guides will be armed, teaching you the fundamentals of bush craft and giving you the opportunity to track big game, regularly pausing to watch animals’ behaviour and examine the flora and fauna at ground level.
