Singita Boulders Lodge

Singita Boulders Lodge is situated in the game rich Sabi Sands Reserve in the Mpumalanga Province, overlooking the Sand River and bordering the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The word Singita means ‘miracle’ in the local Shangaan language.

The lodge co-exists in perfect harmony with its natural surroundings, having been built around the boulders that are common to the area. The architecture and interior design takes full advantage of the rough, natural geometry of the surrounding rocks and sophistication blends perfectly with natural earth tones and tapestries to create an exclusive bush retreat. The twelve luxury air-conditioned suites have indoor and outdoor showers, spacious living areas with double sided fire places, private decks and heated plunge pools. The dining area overlooks the calm waters of the Sand River where meals are complimented by vintage wines which have been carefully selected from the camps temperature controlled wine. At your request, the staff will even wrap up a bottle and courier it to your home address for your future enjoyment. After dinner you can relax in the well stocked library and enjoy a night cap before retiring to the comfort of your inviting suite.

Singita Boulders Lodge is the perfect destination for year round safaris with an array of wildlife treasures that include the Big 5 and herds of impala and zebra. Hippos, lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino will keep you entertained on your game drives and as the sunsets and the nocturnal animals emerge you will be accompanied by expert guides as you search for the elusive leopard, night jars, spotted genet, white tailed mongoose, owls and hyenas.

Besides the wonderful game viewing activities, you will also be able to make use of the well equipped gym and spa facilities. Indulge in some pampering with alternative beauty therapies that include an African head massage, Thai massages, hot stone therapy, reflexology and mineral and seaweed scrubs.
