Kirurumu Serengeti Camp
The Kirurumu Serengeti Camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation area in Tanzania is a seasonal luxury tented mobile camp that moves seasonally to take best advantage of the vast Serengeti and is perfect for viewing the wildlife migration in the south-eastern Serengeti National Park.
The five luxury tents are tastefully furnished with comfortable beds, safari chairs, individually styled soft furnishings and en-suite facilities. The camp has a dining room with a waiter in attendance and there is an additional tent with a camp fire where breakfast, lunch and dinners by candlelight are served.
A safari in the Serengeti is one of East Africa’s most spectacular and unforgettable wildlife experiences, especially when visited at the height of the migration when the hooves of thousands of breeding wildebeest and zebra pound the plains followed by the predators that hunt them. It is one of the most photographed and exciting wildlife experiences on earth. To allow visitors to fully appreciate this spectacle the camp follows the short grass plains from December to March and then moves northwards in June towards the Western Corridor. In the dry season months the camp moves to a more central position to appreciate the game in the Seronera area.
The camp is used as a base from which to explore the extraordinary array of wildlife and bird species. You will be able to view the game on a romantic hot air balloon safari, on a guided walk with an expert ranger or from the safety of a 4x4 vehicle. You will also have the opportunity to appreciate the local culture by visiting one the local tribes who still live a traditional way of life. This romantic camp is the perfect choice for honeymooners.
