Mchenja Bushcamp sits in a secluded grove on the Luangwa River with just five tented chalets overlooking the river. It is the perfect place to visit for those seeking a safari with experienced and knowledgeable guides combined with comfortable, unpretentious accommodation.
The camp offers a selection of five tented chalets that are comfortable and tastefully decorated, with open bathrooms and wide canvas windows.
The lounge area is stylish and features plush sofas which are perfectly situated by the library and well stocked bar for an afternoon of reading, drink in hand. Mchenja also has a small plunge pool for a refreshing dip after you get back from a day on safari.

Guests can arrange a guided tour by foot or by jeep with expert guides who can point out interesting wildlife and talk about the Luangwa’s history.
